Georgia Chamber Honors Senator John Albers with “A” Scorecard Grade

Sen. John Albers (R – Roswell) received an “A” score on the Georgia Chamber of Commerce’s Scorecard for his support of the Chamber’s legislative priorities during the 2017-2018 legislative session.

“As a longtime champion for all businesses in Georgia, it is an honor to be recognized by an organization that prioritizes economic development and lessening burdens on Georgia’s business community,” said Sen. Albers. “I want to commend the Chamber and my colleagues for addressing the needs of our businesses while also making economic development across Georgia a priority. While we made great progress this year, our work on behalf of the citizens of Georgia is never done. I look forward to working with the Chamber next year and shepherding additional legislation that will have a positive impact for all Georgians and keep our state the number one place in the nation to business.”

The Chamber assigns grades based on a legislator’s support of its 12 legislative priorities which focus on issues important to the business community such as economic development, education, health care and employment, among others. Sen. Albers voted favorably for a majority of the priorities and was instrumental in ensuring the legislation made its way through the legislative process.
